REVIEW: Catrice Cosmetics Eyebrow Stylist

Nowadays, most of girls' goal is "eyebrows on fleek". Most of us brow addicts know the struggle. As for me, I can't leave the house without my brows done. So it is very important to have many choices when it comes to picking the right brow product. Today I will share to you my newly discovered eyebrow pencil, the Catrice Cosmetics' Eyebrow Stylist.

I'm a total judge when it comes to brow products. I'm not easy to please when it comes to these so you can really expect that this review is my whole honesty. But each review that I make is just my opinion, and nothing but my opinion. Most especially, this is not intended for bragging. It is meant for additional informations that you can get for me to also help you to pick the right product.

This is my first ever Catrice Cosmetics product that I ever owned. I never really knew about this product until it was introduced to me by the saleslady at the mall.

About the product:

For those who don't know yet, Catrice Cosmetics is a European brand. I believe it is related to Essence. It says here that is it a brow pencil for a precise application and a natural look, which is made in Spain. Sounds sosyal right? It also has a spoolie brush on the other end of the pencil. It retails for 279 pesos. Not bad for an international brand, right? But let us see for the quality of the pencil.

I got mine in the shade brow-n-eyed-peas (which I found cool). Here is how it looks like in a swatch on my hand.

It really has that brown shade. Going on the application, at first I had a hard time applying it. I feel like it is so sticky. But I realized that it is just me. It's been a very long time since I used a pencil for my brows. I always use either a powder, wax or pomade. That is why I felt like I'm already not used to the application of a pencil. So I practiced to use it. It's like I'm learning how to fill in my brows again for the first time. Haha!

If I can rate this pencil from 1-5, I think it's a 3. Because first, it's not easy to begin with. I think it's not suitable for the beginners out there. But there are still perks on this product. What I like the most about this pencil is it isn't easy to take off. I like that because in my school, it's very hot so I sweat a lot. That is why I really need a waterproof brows. However, even if it doesn't claim that it is waterproof, it has the idea. You can take it off by water, but it's not like one rub and then it's off. And also, it is perfect for everyday use. Once you get used with its application, it will be easier and faster for you which is a great thing, especially if you're always in a hurry or late (like me). Another thing, it doesn't look red. And I think same goes with the other shades.

This is how it looks on me, with different lighting.

Natural Lighting (sunlight)

Artificial Light

As you can see, the color shows off differently with different lightings. These have no filters to really show the color/shade of the pencil. What do you think about this product? Is it worth the price? For me, yes. But still, I don't recommend this for beginners. Will I buy it again? I think, no. If you really dig into experimenting with different brow pencils, you can try it to prove by yourself.

That's it! What do you think about the review? Follow me on Instagram (Raissuhhh) for more post updates. Thanks, with love.
